May 11, 2010
MILWAUKEE, WI ⎯ Two representatives of Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council, Inc. member companies were elected to positions within NARI National at the association’s annual spring business meeting board of delegates meeting held Sat., April 10, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Dean Herriges, MCR, CKBR, owner of Urban Herriges & Sons in Mukwonago, Wis., was elected as Vice President of NARI National. Herriges has served in a variety of capacities for NARI National and the local Milwaukee chapter, and he also serves on the Milwaukee/NARI board of directors.
Diane Ausavich, Milwaukee/NARI President with Carl Krueger Construction, Inc. in Milwaukee. Wis., was appointed to serve as chairperson of the NARI National Marketing Committee. Ausavich recently served on the NARI National Strategic Planning Task Force in addition to her duties with the Milwaukee chapter.
The Milwaukee Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), the largest of the 60 local chapters across the country with over 900 members, has been the area’s leading home improvement and remodeling industry resource for more than 48 years.
The Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council was chartered in July 1961, as a Chapter of the National Home Improvement Council. In May of 1982, the National Home Improvement Council merged with the National Remodelers Association to form NARI ⎯ the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
The Council’s goals of encouraging ethical conduct, sound business practices, and professionalism in the remodeling industry have led to the growth of the remodeling industry nationwide and made NARI a recognized authority in that industry.
