MILWAUKEE/NARI HOME IMPROVEMENT SHOW ADVANCE TICKET LOCATIONS ANNOUNCED

MILWAUKEE, WIS. - Advance regular adult admission tickets for the 49th annual Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Show are available now through Wed., Feb. 9, at the Milwaukee/NARI office and at member locations throughout southeastern Wisconsin. The Show will be held Thurs., Feb. 10, through Sun., Feb. 13, at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park in West Allis.

Advance tickets are $6, with tickets to be sold at the door for $8 on Thurs. and Fri., and for $10 on Sat. and Sun. Two-day tickets for the Show will also be sold at the door for $12. Tickets for seniors 60 and older are $5.00, with a special price of $4.00 at the door on Thurs, Feb. 10, for Callen Construction Senior Day. Children 12 and younger are free.

Cosponsored by the Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council, Inc., and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the 2011 Show will provide Milwaukee/NARI, the area’s leading home improvement and remodeling industry resource for more than 49 years, with the opportunity to have its members demonstrate for consumers “Where Ideas Bloom,” the theme for the Show.

More than 700 booth spaces covering the entire exposition center will feature providers of thousands of home improvement products and services, including kitchens, decks, cabinets, windows, bathrooms, siding, lighting, landscaping, media rooms, wall covering, rec rooms, roofing, fireplaces, and more.

During the Show, educational demonstrations and seminars by home improvement experts and media celebrities will be held, including presentations on the Renewal by Andersen Seminar Demonstration Stage by Shari Hiller & Matt Fox of “Around the House with Matt and Shari” on PBS (and formerly of HGTV), with presentations sponsored by Allrite Home & Remodeling, Josh Foss of HGTV’s “Design Star,” Melinda Myers, and Tom Feiza, Mr. Fix-It, sponsored by J&B Construction. The Grand Appliance & AB&K Cooking Demonstration Stage will feature area chefs and national cooking celebrities, including Chef Bonnie Muirhead, runner up on FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen” and Chef Darren McGrady, formerly the private chef for Princess Diana.

In addition, the Show’s Outdoor Living Area will feature a “neighborhood staycation” area comprised of a variety of landscaping and hardscaping, plus incorporate designs created from wood by area technical school students that will be raffled off at the conclusion of the Show as part of the Milwaukee/NARI Foundation fundraising raffle. There will also be special attractions, including an Benjamin Moore Interior Design Room Display contest between area college students, the Schlossmann’s Automotive Group vehicle display, and manufacturer displays.
